Rachel Ku'uipo Naomi Rio (she/her) is a queer artist and writer from the Bay Area whose work lives at the crossroads of race, sexuality, gender and mental health. With roots in Hawaiian, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Puerto Rican, and Okinawan heritage - a true mutt, as someone once called her - she embraces complexity.  Originally drawn to screenwriting, she is open to any role that nurtures her creative passions.
